Peer to Peer Intervention Action Research Group

This action research group will look into the benefits of peer to peer tutoring. Through the use of cooperative learning strategies, students will be given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of mathematics. Students will be encouraged to use precise mathematical language and reasoning amongst their peers and will explore their knowledge of mathematics. Existing Peer to Peer practices will be researched so that they can be adapted and trialled within a primary classroom setting so that all children can make progress in mathematics.
