Course description

This course will provide participants with vocabulary to think therapeutically about “challenging behaviour” and explore how trauma can impact learning. Participants will be introduced to a working understanding of how trauma affects the brain and impacts learning. They will be introduced to the Jungian model of the psyche and the concepts of transference and counter transference and will explore how this relates to understanding student’s emotional behavior. Participants will get an opportunity to explore strategies and techniques in group exercises in light of this new way of thinking
