Now live in BlueSky Education: Objectives timeline view
We have introduced a new way to encourage continuous engagement towards objectives in BlueSky Education.
This view gives individuals the ability to view their objectives, activities and evidence on a timeline. This allows individuals and managers to track progress chronologically, delivering a better picture of activity and engagement throughout the cycle.
Reviewee-led approach
Overview Statements have traditionally been created and led by line managers. Our new feature allows meetings and other custom templates to be owned and created by individuals.
This creates opportunity for self-reflections, mid-year reviews and Performance and Development Reviews to be created by staff, before they are visible to their line managers. Get in touch with the team to learn how to set this up.
Read our latest blog to explore some of the key considerations when developing a reviewee-led approach to appraisal.

Your own shade of Blue
We have added more customisation features. You can now customise module names for Objectives and Overview statements, as well as terminology within the Objective Form. You can also customise the help text for CPDs, Objectives and Observations. Further customisation options are coming soon!

BlueSky shortlisted for Bett Awards 2022
At BlueSky we take pride in ensuring we are listening to the needs of our schools at all times. At the beginning of the lockdown last year, we quickly realised that there would be a huge impact on teacher training and the induction of Early Career Teachers, as well as enormous pressure on the whole profession.
This realisation lead to the rapid development of our online CPD programme, which aimed to support schools as they moved overnight to virtual teaching. BlueSky Learning has now been shortlisted for the Bett Award 2022.
