Quality Assurance in Education
Quality assurance is fundamental to maintaining and improving standards across teaching and learning, and leadership. It’s crucial to strike a balance between holding teachers accountable for the quality of their teaching, while also providing them with the necessary support and resources to grow and thrive.
Running Reports in BlueSky
At this point in the year, you may have finished closing down the 2023-2024 appraisal cycle and the new cycle may be well underway. BlueSky’s features can help to provide clarity over the progress being made by staff and for managers in setting and approving objectives:

Totals Report:
This report can be run in all areas of the app, but at this time in the year it can clearly show who has set their objectives and whose objectives are still awaiting approval. This insight can help you to provide assistance to those staff who may need it. Click below for a guide to running the Totals Report.

Objectives Report:
This report provides detailed information on the objectives that have been set and the support and CPD that staff require to help them achieve these. This can help you plan an effective programme of CPD that is relevant for all members of staff. This report also allows you to see how individuals’ objectives align with your organisation priorities.
